Samostalnik: Razumevanje in Pravilna Uporaba

Kaj je samostalnik
Samostalnik je beseda, s katero poimenujemo bitja (npr. učenec, pes, mama), stvari (npr. miza, zvezek, telefon) ali pojme (npr. ljubezen, sreča, jeza). To so besede, o katerih lahko nekaj povemo, ko se vprašamo "Kdo ali kaj?".
Vsak samostalnik v slovenščini ima tri slovnične lastnosti, ki jih moraš vedno določiti. Te lastnosti so spol, število in sklon. Brez izjeme - vsak samostalnik ima vse tri!
Zapomniti si moraš: Samostalnik = bitje, stvar ali pojem + vedno ima spol, število in sklon
Spol ti pove, ali je samostalnik moškega, ženskega ali srednjega spola. Število pove, ali gre za eno stvar, dve ali več stvari. Sklon pa pove, v kakšnem razmerju je samostalnik z drugimi besedami v stavku.
Spol in število samostalnika
Spol določiš z besedico "tisti", "tista" ali "tisto". Moški spol uporablja "tisti" (tisti zvezek, tisti stol), ženski spol "tista" (tista miza, tista šola), srednji spol pa "tisto" (tisto okno, tisto kolo).
Slovenščina ima tri števila - to je naša posebnost! Ednina pomeni eno stvar (en učenec), dvojina pomeni natanko dve stvari (dva učenca), množina pa tri ali več stvari (trije učenci).
Pazi: Dvojina je posebnost slovenščine - ne pozabi na njo!
Večina samostalnikov moškega spola se konča na soglasnik, ženski spol se večinoma konča na -a, srednji spol pa na -o ali -e. Vendar pozor - obstajajo izjeme, kot je "kino" (moški spol)!
Sklon samostalnika
Sklon določiš z vprašalnicami - to je edini pravi način! Obstaja šest sklonov, vsak ima svojo vprašalnico, ki si jo moraš zapomniti na pamet.
Imenovalnik (1. sklon): "Kdo ali kaj?" - To je miza. Rodilnik (2. sklon): "Koga ali česa?" - Ni mize. Dajalnik (3. sklon): "Komu ali čemu?" - Približal sem se mizi.
Tožilnik (4. sklon): "Koga ali kaj?" - Vidim mizo. Mestnik (5. sklon): "O kom ali o čem?" - Govorim o mizi. Orodnik (6. sklon): "S kom ali s čim?" - Pišem za mizo.
Pomembno: Vprašalnice si ponavljaj vsak dan - brez njih ne moreš določiti sklona!
Posebej pazi na rodilnik in tožilnik, ker imata podobni vprašalnici "Koga?". Rodilnik pogosto pomeni, da nečesa ni, tožilnik pa je povezan z glagoli, ki nekaj "delajo" predmetu.
Praktični primeri določanja
Vzemimo stavek: "Učiteljica je pohvalila pridne učence." Poiščeš samostalnike: učiteljica, učence. Nato analiziraš vsak posebej.
Učiteljica: Spol določiš z "tista učiteljica" → ženski spol. Število - je samo ena → ednina. Sklon - "Kdo je pohvalil?" → 1. sklon (imenovalnik). Rezultat: učiteljica (ž. sp., ed., 1. sklon).
Učence: "Tisti učenec" → moški spol. Več kot dva → množina. "Koga je učiteljica pohvalila?" → 4. sklon (tožilnik). Rezultat: učence (m. sp., mn., 4. sklon).
Nasvet: Vedno najprej določi spol - to ti bo pomagalo pri ostalem!
Pri določanju uporabljaj sistem: najprej spol , nato število (koliko?), na koncu pa sklon (pravilna vprašalnica v stavku).
Povzetek za test
Samostalnik je beseda za bitja, stvari in pojme, ki ji določimo tri lastnosti: spol (moški, ženski, srednji), število (ednina, dvojina, množina) in sklon (šest sklonov z vprašalnicami).
Spol določiš z "tisti/tista/tisto". Število prepoznaš po tem, koliko stvari predstavlja samostalnik. Sklon določiš z ustrezno vprašalnico v stavku - to je najpomembnejša veščina!
