Úvod do modálnych slovies
Modálne slovesá sú tvoji najlepší kamaráti v nemčine. Bez nich by si nevedel povedať ani že "vieš plávať" ani že "musíš ísť domov". Sú to špeciálne slovesá, ktoré menia význam hlavného slovesa vo vete.
Fungujú jednoducho: modálne sloveso ide na druhé miesto (hneď po podmete) a hlavné sloveso v neurčitku letí na úplný koniec vety. Neurčitok je základný tvar slovesa ako "gehen", "machen" alebo "sprechen".
Základných šesť musíš ovládať: können , müssen (musieť), wollen (chcieť), dürfen (smieť), sollen a mögen (mať rád). Každé má svoj vlastný význam a použitie.
Dôležité: Modálne sloveso je vždy na 2. mieste vo vete, hlavné sloveso v neurčitku ide na koniec!
Können a müssen - základné duo
Können znamená "vedieť" alebo "môcť" a používaš ho pri schopnostiach či možnostiach. "Ich kann gut Deutsch sprechen" = "Viem dobre nemecky hovoriť". Časuje sa: ich/er/sie kann, du kannst, wir/sie können, ihr könnt.
Müssen je "musieť" - vyjadruje povinnosť alebo nutnosť. "Ich muss meine Hausaufgaben machen" = "Musím urobiť domáce úlohy". Časovanie: ich/er/sie muss, du musst, wir/sie müssen, ihr müsst.
Všimni si dôležitý vzor: ich a er/sie/es majú vždy rovnaký tvar u modálnych slovies. To ti ušetrí kopec učenia!
Tip: Pri können myslíš na schopnosti, pri müssen na povinnosti!
Wollen a dürfen - chcenie vs. povolenie
Wollen je silné "chcieť" - nie je to len tak, ale naozaj to chceš! "Ich will Arzt werden" = "Chcem byť lekárom". Časovanie: ich/er/sie will, du willst, wir/sie wollen, ihr wollt.
Dürfen znamená "smieť" - ide o povolenie alebo zákaz. "Du darfst jetzt spielen" = "Smieš teraz hrať" versus "Man darf hier nicht rauchen" = "Tu sa nesmie fajčiť". Časuje sa: ich/er/sie darf, du darfst, wir/sie dürfen, ihr dürft.
Rozdiel medel wollen a möchten si zapamätaj: wollen je priamočiare, möchten je zdvorilejšie.
Pozor: Dürfen + nicht = zákaz, nie len nemožnosť!
Sollen a mögen - rady a obľúbenosť
Sollen znamená "mať" alebo "mal by" - niekto ti radí alebo prikazuje. "Du sollst mehr lernen" = "Mal by si sa viac učiť". Časovanie: ich/er/sie soll, du sollst, wir/sie sollen, ihr sollt.
Mögen je "mať rád", ale pozor - má dva tvary! Základný mögen a zdvorilý möchten ("chcel by som"). "Ich mag Pizza" versus "Ich möchte einen Kaffee trinken". Pre möchten: ich/er/sie möchte, du möchtest, wir/sie möchten.
Möchten používaš oveľa častejšie - znie zdvorilo a prirodzene. V reštaurácii, obchode, všade kde niečo chceš.
Kľúčové: Möchten je tvoj najlepší kamarát pre zdvorilé žiadosti!
Praktické používanie vo vetách
Teraz si to vyskúšajme na konkrétnych príkladoch. "Ja viem hrať na klavíri" = "Ich kann Klavier spielen". Können sa časuje na kann, spielen ide na koniec.
"Ty musíš upratať svoju izbu" = "Du musst dein Zimmer aufräumen". Müssen pre du je musst, aufräumen letí dozadu.
Pri otázkach sa všetko otočí: "Vieš mi pomôcť?" = "Kannst du mir helfen?" Modálne sloveso skáče na prvé miesto.
Praktický tip: Najprv si rozmysli modálne sloveso, potom ho daj na druhé miesto a hlavné sloveso hoď na koniec!
Časté chyby a ako sa im vyhnúť
Najčastejšia chyba: Zabudnúť, že ich a er/sie/es majú rovnaký tvar. Nie "ich können", ale ich kann!
Druhá najčastejšia: Pomýliť mögen a möchten. Mögen = mať rád, möchten = chcel by som. "Ich mag Schokolade" verzus "Ich möchte Schokolade essen".
Pri zápore pridávaš nicht pred hlavné sloveso: "Ich kann nicht schwimmen" = "Neviem plávať". Pri podstatných menách používaš kein: "Ich mag keinen Kaffee".
Záchranný tip: Ak si nie si istý, použij möchten - je zdvorilé a takmer vždy správne!

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!!
