Uvod v ekologijo in osnovni pojmi
Ekologija je veda, ki preučuje odnose med živimi bitji in njihovim okoljem. V bistvu poskuša razumeti, kako deluje narava kot celota, kar je ključno za razumevanje človeškega vpliva na okolje.
Osnovno hierarhijo organizmov si zapomniš takole: osebek → populacija → biocenoza → ekosistem → biosfera. Vrsta je skupina organizmov, ki se lahko med seboj razmnožujejo in imajo plodne potomce. Populacija je skupina osebkov iste vrste na določenem območju.
Biocenoza (življenjska združba) vključuje vse populacije različnih vrst, ki živijo skupaj na istem prostoru. Biotop je neživi del - prostor z določenimi fizikalnimi lastnostmi (temperatura, svetloba, tla). Ekosistem je celota biocenoze in biotopa, kjer poteka pretok energije in kroženje snovi.
Pozor! Ne zameši habitata in ekološke niše. Habitat je KJE vrsta živi (naslov), niša pa je KAKO vrsta živi (poklic).
Zgradba ekosistemov in trofični nivoji
Vsak ekosistem ima jasno strukturo, ki temelji na trofičnih nivojih - to so "jedilni nivoji" organizmov.
Proizvajalci (producenti) so avtotrofni organizmi, ki s fotosintezo ali kemosintero izdelajo organsko snov iz anorganske. To so rastline, alge in nekatere bakterije - oni so osnova vseh prehranjevalnih verig.
Porabniki (konsumenti) so heterotrofni organizmi, razdeljeni v skupine: primarni porabniki (rastlinojedi kot zajci), sekundarni porabniki (mesojedi kot lisica), terciarni porabniki (vrhovni plenilci kot volk). Razkrojevalci so ključni za delovanje ekosistema - bakterije in glive razkrajajo odmrlo snov in jo vračajo v okolje.
Prehranjevalna veriga prikazuje linearno zaporedje "kdo koga poje", prehranjevalni splet pa je realistična slika medsebojno povezanih verig. Večina živali se namreč prehranjuje z več vrstami.
Ključno za maturo: Energijska piramida nikoli ne more biti obrnjena, ker se energija na vsakem nivoju izgublja!
Pretok energije in pravilo 10%
Energija se v ekosistemu pretaka enosmerno - od sonca preko proizvajalcev do porabnikov. Nikoli se ne vrne, zato morajo proizvajalci stalno "polniti baterije" s fotosintezo.
Pravilo 10% je ena najpomembnejših zakonitosti ekologije: le okoli 10% energije z nižjega trofičnega nivoja se prenese na višji nivo. Ostalih 90% se porabi za življenjske procese (dihanje, gibanje) ali se izgubi kot toplota.
Zaradi teh velikih izgub so prehranjevalne verige kratke in biomasa se na vsakem naslednjem nivoju močno zmanjša. To prikazujemo z ekološkimi piramidami - številčno, biomasno in energijsko.
Formula za prenos energije: E(višji nivo) ≈ 0,1 × E(nižji nivo). To pomeni, da če ima prvi nivo 1000 enot energije, bo drugi imel le 100, tretji 10, četrti pa le 1 enoto.
Razumej logiko: Zato so vrhovni plenilci redki in potrebujejo velika ozemlja za preživetje!
Kroženje snovi v ekosistemu
Za razliko od energije snovi v ekosistemu krožijo - nenehno se reciklirajo med živo in neživo naravo. Razkrojevalci so tu nepogrešljivi.
Ogljikov krog: CO₂ iz ozračja rastline vežejo s fotosintezo, ogljik potuje po prehranjevalni verigi, nato pa se CO₂ spet sprošča z dihanjem in razgradnjo odmrle snovi. Človek s kurjenjem fosilnih goriv to ravnovesje moti.
Dušikov krog je kompleksnejši: atmosferski N₂ večina organizmov ne more uporabiti. Posebne bakterije ga "fiksirajo" v uporabne oblike (amonijak), druge bakterije to pretvorijo v nitrite in nitrate, rastline te oblike vsrkajo, dušik potuje po prehranjevalni verigi, razkrojevalci pa organski dušik spet pretvorijo v amonijak.
Ključni procesi: fiksacija → nitrifikacija → asimilacija → amonifikacija → denitrifikacija. Vsak korak opravljajo druge bakterije.
Zanimivost: Metuljnice (fižol, grašek) imajo v koreninskih gomoljčkih bakterije, ki vežejo dušik - zato so odličen predposevek!
Primer slovenskega gozdnega ekosistema
Mešani gozd (npr. v Triglavskem narodnem parku) odlično prikazuje delovanje ekosistema.
Biotop: zmerna temperatura s sezonskimi nihanji, zadostne padavine, razvita gozdna prst, senčne lege. Biocenoza: proizvajalci (bukev, smreka, jelka, gozdne zelišča), primarni porabniki (srna, jelen, polh, gosenice), sekundarni porabniki (lisica, kuna, ptice pevke), terciarni porabniki (volk, ris, orel), razkrojevalci (gobe, bakterije).
Interakcije vključujejo kompeticijo (bukev vs. smreka za svetlobo), plenilstvo (ris pleni srno) in simbiozo . Človek vpliva pozitivno (načrtno gospodarjenje) in negativno (onesnaževanje, sečnja).
Stabilnost gozda zagotavlja biotska raznovrstnost - če izpade ena vrsta, imajo plenilci druge vire hrane. Monokulture (samo smreka) so veliko bolj občutljive.
Povezava z okoljevarstvom: Več vrst = stabilnejši ekosistem = boljša odpornost proti spremembam!
Sukcesija in antropogeni vplivi
Sukcesija je postopno spreminjanje ekosistema skozi čas. Primarna sukcesija se začne na golih površinah (skala, lava) z lišaji, sekundarna sukcesija pa na že razviti prsti (po požaru, sečnji) in je hitrejša.
Antropogeni vplivi so danes najpomembnejši dejavnik spreminjanja ekosistemov. Glavne težave so evtrofikacija (prekomerno gnojenje vodnih teles povzroči cvetenje alg in pomor rib), izguba habitatov zaradi urbanizacije in globalno segrevanje.
Evtrofikacija se pogosto pojavi v jezerih - presežek dušika in fosforja povzroči množično rast alg, ki porabijo ves kisik. Blejsko jezero je imelo s tem težave. Globalno segrevanje spreminja podnebne vzorce in sili vrste v selitev ali izumrtje.
Človek je postal geološka sila - naš vpliv na biosfero je primerljiv z velikimi naravnimi katastrofami. Razumevanje ekologije je ključno za iskanje rešitev.

This app is phenomenal down to the correct info and the various topics you can study! I greatly recommend it for people who struggle with procrastination and those who need homework help. It has been perfectly accurate for world 1 history as far as I’ve seen! Geometry too!

Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! Knowunity is the BEST app I’ve used in a minute. This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming. I love it and my mom is just happy I got good grades

The app's just great! All I have to do is enter the topic in the search bar and I get the response real fast. I don't have to watch 10 YouTube videos to understand something, so I'm saving my time. Highly recommended!

I found this app a couple years ago and it has only gotten better since then. I really love it because it can help with written questions and photo questions. Also, it can find study guides that other people have made as well as flashcard sets and practice tests. The free version is also amazing for students who might not be able to afford it. Would 100% recommend
