Uvod v dihala in ključni pojmi
Zakaj je dihanje tako pomembno? Preprosto - brez kisika naše celice ne morejo proizvesti energije iz hrane. To pomeni, da ne bi mogli teči, se učiti ali sploh živeti.
Dihanje je mehanski proces, ko zrak potuje v pljuča in ven iz njih. Ne smeš ga zamešati s celičnim dihanjem, ki je kemični proces v celicah, kjer kisik "zažge" hranila in sprosti energijo.
Pljučni mešički (alveole) so kot majceni mehurčki na koncu dihalnih cevk - tukaj se kisik iz zraka prenese v kri. Trebušna prepona je velika mišica pod pljuči, ki ti pomaga dihati. Ko se skrči, vdihneš, ko se sprosti, izdihneš.
💡 Dobro vedeti: Izmenjava plinov pomeni, da kisik gre iz pljuč v kri, ogljikov dioksid pa iz krvi v pljuča, da ga lahko izdihneš.
Pot zraka skozi dihala
Zrak mora opraviti pravo potovanje, da pride do tvojih pljuč. Vrstni red je super pomemben za teste!
Začne se v nosni votlini (ali ustih), kjer se zrak segreje, navlaži in očisti - drobne dlačice ujamejo prah. Bolje je dihati skozi nos! Nato gre skozi žrelo (skupen prostor za dihala in prebavila) in grlo, kjer so glasilke.
Sapnik je trda cev z hrustančnimi obroči, ki se deli na dve sapnici - vsaka gre v eno pljučno krilo. V pljučih se sapnici delita na vedno manjše cevčice, kot veje na drevesu.
Na koncu so pljučni mešički - majhne vrečke z izjemno tankimi stenami (debele samo eno celico!). Okoli njih je gosta mreža drobnih krvnih žilic, kjer se dogaja čudež izmenjave plinov.
💡 Zapomniti si: Pot zraka je kot navigacija: nos → žrelo → grlo → sapnik → sapnici → pljuča → mešički.
Kako deluje vdih in izdih
Dihanje je pravzaprav mehansko delo mišic - nič mističnega!
Pri vdihu se trebušna prepona skrči in pomakne navzdol, medrebrne mišice pa dvignejo prsni koš. Prostornina prsnega koša se poveča, tlak v pljučih pade in zrak sam steče noter. To je aktiven proces - mišice morajo delati.
Izdih je večinoma pasiven. Trebušna prepona se sprosti in dvigne, prsni koš se spusti. Prostornina se zmanjša, tlak naraste in zrak je potisnjen ven.
Ključna razlika: za vdih moraš narediti nekaj (mišice delajo), za izdih pa se samo sprostiš.
💡 Za test: Vdih = aktivno (mišice delajo), izdih = pasivno (mišice se sprostijo).
Izmenjava plinov in praktični primeri
V alveolah se dogaja najpomembnejši del. Kri, ki pride do pljuč, je revna s kisikom in bogata z ogljikovim dioksidom. Zrak v mešičkih pa je poln kisika.
Zaradi te razlike plini prehajajo skozi tanke stene - to se imenuje difuzija. Kisik gre v kri in se veže na hemoglobin v rdečih krvničkah, ogljikov dioksid pa iz krvi v mešičke.
Kaj se zgodi pri teku? Mišice potrebujejo več energije, zato celice pospešijo celično dihanje in potrebujejo več kisika. Možgani zaznajo povečano količino CO2 (to je glavni signal!) in pošljejo ukaz, da dihamo hitreje in globlje.
Zakaj se nam v mrazu "kadi" iz ust? Topel in vlažen izdihan zrak se v mrzlem zraku hitro ohladi in vodna para kondenzira v drobne kapljice.
💡 Zanimivost: Ogljikov dioksid je glavni signal za možgane, ne kisik!
Zdravje dihal in primerjava zraka
Kajenje uničuje migetalke v sapniku in poškoduje pljučne mešičke - to vodi v kronični bronhitis ali pljučni rak. Onesnažen zrak škoduje, zato je super biti v naravi, kjer je zrak čistejši.
Astma je bolezen, pri kateri se dihalne poti vnamejo in zožijo, kar oteži dihanje. Sprožilci so alergeni ali napor.
Primerjava vdihanega in izdihanega zraka (pogosto na testih!):
- Kisik: iz 21% pade na 16% (telo ga porabi)
- Ogljikov dioksid: iz 0,04% naraste na 4% (odpadek)
- Dušik: ostane 78% (telo ga ne uporablja)
- Vodna para: izdihan zrak je nasičen z vlago
💡 Pomembno: Največ razlike je pri kisiku (zmanjša se) in ogljikovem dioksidu .
