Was ist ein Zahlenstrahl?
Der Zahlenstrahl wird auch Zahlengerade genannt und ist wie eine Straße für Zahlen. Er ist eine Halbgerade, die links begrenzt ist, aber nach rechts unendlich weitergeht - deshalb siehst du am Ende immer einen Pfeil.
Bei der Beschriftung musst du immer denselben Abstand zwischen den Zahlen einhalten. Wenn dein Zahlenstrahl bis 10 geht, nimmst du einen Abstand von 1. Geht er bis 100, verwendest du den Abstand 10, und so weiter.
Es gibt verschiedene Arten von Zahlenstrahlen. Der positive Zahlenstrahl fängt bei 0 an und die Zahlen werden nach rechts immer größer. Der negative Zahlenstrahl hat die 0 rechts und wird nach links immer kleiner (oder größer im negativen Bereich).
Merktipp: Je weiter rechts eine Zahl steht, desto größer ist sie!

Der kombinierte Zahlenstrahl
Besonders praktisch ist der positive und negative Zahlenstrahl zusammen. Hier steht die 0 in der Mitte und bildet den Ursprung - wie der Startpunkt einer Reise.
Nach rechts von der 0 findest du alle positiven Zahlen, die immer größer werden (1, 2, 3, 4, 5...). Nach links stehen die negativen Zahlen, die immer kleiner werden (-1, -2, -3, -4, -5...).
Diese Art von Zahlenstrahl ist super hilfreich, wenn du mit Temperaturen arbeitest oder Schulden und Guthaben darstellst. Du kannst sofort sehen, welche Zahl größer oder kleiner ist.
Praxistipp: Stell dir vor, die 0 ist dein Zuhause - rechts davon gewinnst du Geld, links davon verlierst du welches!
