Kaj so potence?
Predstavljaj si, da moraš napisati 3×3×3×3×3×3×3. To je precej dolgočasno, kajne? Potence so tvoj rešitelj - namesto vsega tega napišeš preprosto 3⁷.
Vsaka potenca ima dva dela. Osnova je število, ki ga množiš (v 5³ je to 5). Eksponent ti pove, kolikokrat moraš to število pomnožiti samo s sabo (v 5³ je to 3).
Torej 5³ pomeni 5×5×5 = 125. Vrednost te potence je 125. Super enostavno!
💡 Nasvet: Eksponent ni enak množenju z osnovo! 3⁴ ni 3×4, ampak 3×3×3×3 = 81.
Pravila za računanje s potencami - del 1
Ko imaš enako osnovo, so pravila zelo preprosta. Pri množenju sešteješ eksponente, pri deljenju pa jih odšteješ.
Množenje z enako osnovo: a^m × a^n = a^. Primer: 3² × 3⁴ = 3⁶. Zakaj? Ker imaš 3×3×3×3×3×3 - torej šest trojk skupaj.
Deljenje z enako osnavo: a^m ÷ a^n = a^. Primer: 5⁷ ÷ 5³ = 5⁴. To je kot ulomek, kjer se spodnje petice pokrajšajo z zgornjimi.
💡 Nasvet: Pri deljenju osnova ne sme biti 0, sicer dobiš nesmiseln rezultat!
Pravila za računanje s potencami - del 2
Ko imaš enak eksponent, zmnožiš ali deliš osnovi in obdržiš isti eksponent.
Množenje z enakim eksponentom: a^n × b^n = (a×b)^n. Primer: 2⁴ × 5⁴ = (2×5)⁴ = 10⁴.
Potenciranje potence je še lažje - eksponente zmnožiš: ^n = a^(m×n). Primer: (2³)² = 2⁶.
Posebni primeri, ki jih moraš vedeti: katerokoli število na 0 je 1 , na 1 pa je enako sebi . Število 1 na karkoli je vedno 1.
💡 Pozor: Pravila veljajo samo za množenje in deljenje, ne za seštevanje! 2³ + 2⁴ ni enako 2⁷.
Reševanje primerov
Oglejmo si, kako uporabiš vsa ta pravila skupaj. Vedno sledi pravilnemu vrstnemu redu: oklepaji, potence, množenje/deljenje, seštevanje/odštevanje.
Primer: Poenostavi 4⁵ × 4² ÷ 4³. Najprej zmnožiš potenci z enako osnovo: 4⁵⁺² = 4⁷. Potem deliš: 4⁷ ÷ 4³ = 4⁷⁻³ = 4⁴ = 256.
Z neznankami: (x² × y³)² × x³. Najprej potenciraš oklepaj: x⁴ × y⁶. Potem dodaš x³: x⁴⁺³ × y⁶ = x⁷y⁶.
Pazi na negativna števila! (-2)⁴ = 16, ampak -2⁴ = -16. Razlika je v oklepajih.
💡 Trik: Če se ti zdi primer zapleten, ga razdeli na manjše korake. Rešuj po delih!
Hiter povzetek za test
Glavna pravila za potence so preprosta za pomnjenje. Pri enaki osnovi seštevaš/odštevaš eksponente. Pri enakem eksponentu množiš/deliš osnovi.
Posebni primeri: a⁰ = 1, a¹ = a, 1^n = 1. Ti so pogosti na testih, zato si jih zapomni.
Pogoste napake: Ne mešaj potenciranja z množenjem (3⁴ ≠ 3×4). Pazi na negativna števila in oklepaje. Pravila ne veljajo za seštevanje in odštevanje potenc!
Če ti ostane v spominu samo eno pravilo, naj bo to: pri enaki osnovi se eksponenti seštejejo pri množenju in odštejejo pri deljenju. To ti bo rešilo večino nalog.
💡 Za test: Naredi si majhno tabelo s pravili in jo imej pri roki. Vadba dela mojstra!
