What Are Invasion Games?
Think of invasion games like a friendly battle where two teams fight for territory. Your mission is simple: get into the opponent's area to score points whilst stopping them from doing the same to you. It's like playing a strategic game of attack and defence at the same time!
Popular invasion games include football, basketball, netball, hockey, and tag rugby. Once you understand the main concepts, you'll find these games much easier to play and enjoy.
The key is learning when to switch between offence (attacking when your team has the ball) and defence (protecting your goal when the other team has possession). Every player needs to master both roles because the game changes constantly!
