The American Revolution: Summary

The American Revolution: Causes and Consequences
Ever wonder how a bunch of angry colonists managed to defeat the world's strongest empire? The American Revolution started because Britain wanted complete control over their American colonies through laws like the Navigation Acts.
These acts forced Americans to sell important products like sugar, cotton, and tobacco only through England. This made Britain wealthy but led to widespread smuggling and growing anger in the colonies.
The famous Boston Tea Party in 1773 showed just how fed up Americans were. Disguised as Native Americans, colonists dumped 342 crates of tea into Boston Harbour to protest unfair taxes. Earlier, the Boston Massacre had already killed 5 people when British soldiers fired on an angry crowd.
George Washington emerged as the American leader, and despite early failures like losing Philadelphia, he proved his worth during the harsh winter at Valley Forge. Thousands of his soldiers died from disease, but those who survived became a well-trained army that respected Washington for staying with them through the hardship.
Key Point: Both sides had major strengths and weaknesses - Britain had 8 million people and a strong navy, but they were fighting 4,800km from home. Americans knew the countryside and used guerrilla tactics, but had to build an army from scratch.
The revolution's success led to the American Constitution in 1787, creating a federal government structure. Most importantly for Irish history, Wolfe Tone and the United Irishmen took inspiration from this revolution and decided they wanted full independence from Britain too.

The app is very easy to use and well designed. I have found everything I was looking for so far and have been able to learn a lot from the presentations! I will definitely use the app for a class assignment! And of course it also helps a lot as an inspiration.
This app is really great. There are so many study notes and help [...]. My problem subject is French, for example, and the app has so many options for help. Thanks to this app, I have improved my French. I would recommend it to anyone.
Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.
