Światopogląd pozytywistyczny
Pozytywiści wierzyli, że nauka może rozwiązać wszystkie problemy świata. Ich światopogląd opierał się na trzech głównych filarach, które całkowicie zmieniły sposób myślenia Polaków.
Scjentyzm to przekonanie, że matematyka i nauki przyrodnicze są najlepszym narzędziem do poznania rzeczywistości. Pozytywiści ufali rozumowi, eksperymentom i logicznemu myśleniu. Wierzyli, że dzięki obiektywnej wiedzy można wyeliminować biedę, choroby i nierówności społeczne.
Organicyzm porównywał społeczeństwo do żywego organizmu. Każda grupa społeczna miała swoją rolę - tak jak organy w ciele człowieka. Ważniejsze od jednostki było dobro całego społeczeństwa, a wszystkie części musiały współpracować harmonijnie.
Ewolucjonizm opierał się na teorii Darwina i głosił ideę ciągłego postępu. Społeczeństwo, podobnie jak przyroda, nieustannie się rozwija i doskonali. Gorsze formy życia są zastępowane przez lepsze, a postęp cywilizacyjny poprawia jakość życia.
💡 Pamiętaj: Te trzy nurty pokazują, jak bardzo pozytywiści ufali nauce i wierzyli w możliwość poprawy świata przez wiedzę i pracę.
Utylitaryzm i stosunek do powstania styczniowego
Utylitaryzm wprowadził nową zasadę wartościowania ludzi. Liczyła się nie pozycja społeczna czy szlachetne urodzenie, ale użyteczność dla społeczeństwa. Pozytywiści cenili produktywność i pracę, która przynosiła korzyści zarówno jednostce, jak i całej wspólnocie.
Powstanie styczniowe (1863-1864) stało się punktem zwrotnym dla całego pokolenia. Klęska powstania pokazała pozytywistom, że romantyczne marzenia o walkach zbrojnych to ślepa uliczka. Choć wielu z nich brało udział w powstaniu, później uznali je za błąd - traumatyczne doświadczenie, które trzeba było przemyśleć.
Zamiast walki orężnej pozytywiści postulowali pracę organiczną i pracę u podstaw - stopniowe budowanie siły narodu przez edukację, rozwój gospodarczy i kulturę. Szanowali męstwo powstańców, ale uważali, że do niepodległości trzeba się najpierw solidnie przygotować.
Przedstawiciele pozytywizmu to wielkie nazwiska polskiej literatury i sztuki. Eliza Orzeszkowa napisała "Nad Niemnem", Bolesław Prus stworzył "Lalkę", a Henryk Sienkiewicz - słynną trylogię. W malarstwie wyróżniali się Aleksander Gierymski i Józef Chełmoński, którzy pokazywali prawdziwe życie zwykłych ludzi.
💡 Ważne: Pozytywiści nie odrzucili patriotyzmu - zmienili tylko sposób jego wyrażania z walki na pracę dla ojczyzny.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!!
