Uvod in ključni pojmi kvantne fizike

Predstavljaj si, da odkriješ svet, kjer energija ne more biti poljubna, ampak obstaja le v "paketkih" - to je svet kvantne fizike. Ta nastane, ker klasična fizika konec 19. stoletja ni znala razložiti pojavov na atomski ravni.

Najpomembnejši pojmi, ki jih moraš poznati:

  • Črno telo - idealno telo, ki absorbira vse sevanje in je hkrati popoln sevalec
  • Kvant - najmanjši, nedeljiv "paketek" energije
  • Foton - delec svetlobe z energijo E = hf, ki nima mirovne mase

Planckova konstanta (h) je ključna - povezuje energijo fotona z njegovo frekvenco. Vrednost h ≈ 6.626 × 10⁻³⁴ Js si zapomni, ker jo boš potreboval pri računanju.

Izstopno delo (Wi) je minimalna energija, da elektron pobegne iz kovine. To je lastnost materiala - vsaka kovina ima svojo vrednost.

💡 Važno za izpit: Dualnost val-delec pomeni, da imajo delci (kot elektroni) lahko lastnosti valov (interferenca) ALI delcev (trki), vendar nikoli obojega hkrati v istem poskusu!

Klasična fizika je imela velik problem - ultravijolična katastrofa. Napovedovala je, da bi segreta telesa morala sevati neskončno energijo pri visokih frekvencah, kar se v resnici ni dogajalo.

Max Planck je leta 1900 rešil problem z genialnim predlogom: energija ni zvezna, ampak obstaja v diskretnih paketih - kvantih. Njegova formula E = hf je postala temelj kvantne fizike.

Dva pomembna zakona za sevanje:

  • Wienov zakon: λmax · T = 2.898 × 10⁻³ mK (povezuje temperaturo z valovno dolžino največje moči)
  • Stefan-Boltzmannov zakon: j* = σT⁴ (celotna moč je sorazmerna s četrto potenco temperature)

💡 Nasvet za naloge: Pri računanju s črnim telesom najprej preveri, ali imaš temperaturo v Kelvinih, ne v Celzijih!

Fotoelektrični pojav - Einsteinov preboj

Fotoelektrični pojav je izbitje elektronov iz kovine s svetlobo. Zveni enostavno, vendar je klasična fizika tu popolnoma odpovedala.

Čudna eksperimentalna dejstva:

  • Obstaja mejna frekvenca - pod njo se ne zgodi nič, ne glede na jakost svetlobe
  • Elektroni so izbiti takoj, brez zamika
  • Kinetična energija elektronov je odvisna od frekvence, ne od jakosti svetlobe
  • Število elektronov je odvisno od jakosti svetlobe

Einstein je uporabil Planckovo idejo fotonov in zapisal slovito enačbo: hf = Wi + Ek,max

To pomeni: energija fotona = izstopno delo + kinetična energija elektrona.

💡 Ključno za razumevanje: Večja jakost = več fotonov = več elektronov. Večja frekvenca = močnejši fotoni = hitrejši elektroni!

Comptonov pojav in gibalna količina fotonov

Comptonov pojav dokazuje, da imajo fotoni tudi gibalno količino, ne le energijo. Gre za "trk" rentgenskih žarkov z elektroni.

Ko se visokoenergijski foton sipa na elektronu, izgubi del energije - sipani foton ima daljšo valovno dolžino. To lahko razložimo le, če foton obravnavamo kot delec z gibalno količino p = h/λ.

Comptonova enačba za spremembo valovne dolžine: Δλ = h/mech/mec1cosθ1-cos θ

Kjer je θ kot sipanja. Večji kot pomeni večjo spremembo valovne dolžine.

💡 Za izpit: Comptonov pojav je dokaz, da imajo fotoni gibalno količino. To je ključno za razumevanje dualnosti svetlobe!

De Broglieva valovna dolžina

Louis de Broglie je leta 1924 postavil drzno hipotezo: če imajo valovi (svetloba) delčne lastnosti, potem imajo tudi delci valovne lastnosti!

De Broglieva enačba: λ = h/p = h/mv

To pomeni, da ima vsak gibajoči se delec svojo valovno dolžino. Manjša kot je masa in hitrost, daljša je valovna dolžina.

Praktični primeri:

  • Elektron (lahek, hiter) → λ ≈ 0.7 nm (primerljivo z atomi)
  • Žogica za tenis (težka, počasna) → λ ≈ 10⁻³⁴ m (neizmerljivo majhna)

Zato pri elektronih opazimo valovne pojave (uklon), pri žogicah pa ne.

💡 Pomni: Valovne lastnosti so opazne le pri zelo majhnih delcih. Makroskopski predmeti se obnašajo klasično!

Heisenbergovo načelo nedoločenosti

Heisenbergovo načelo nedoločenosti je morda najbolj presenetljiv rezultat kvantne fizike. Pravi, da ne moremo hkrati natančno poznati lege in gibalne količine delca.

Matematična oblika: Δx · Δpx ≥ ℏ/2

To ni problem naših instrumentov - to je temeljna lastnost narave! Če želimo natančno izmeriti lego delca, mu moramo "svetiti" s kratkovalovnim fotonom, ki pa mu spremeni gibalno količino.

Praktična posledica: V kvantnem svetu ni določenih tirnic, kot jih poznamo iz klasične fizike. Elektroni v atomih ne krožijo po natančnih poteh, ampak obstajajo v "oblakih verjetnosti".

Drugo načelo nedoločenosti: energija in čas → ΔE · Δt ≥ ℏ/2

💡 Za izpit: Načelo nedoločenosti ni posledica slabih meritev, ampak temeljna lastnost kvantnega sveta!

Rešeni primeri - fotoelektrični pojav

Primer: Svetloba z λ = 450 nm vpada na cezijevo ploščo. Izstopno delo za cezij je Wi = 2.14 eV. Ali pride do fotoelektričnega pojava in kolikšna je maksimalna kinetična energija elektronov?

Korak 1: Izračunaj energijo fotona E = hc/λ = (6.626 × 10⁻³⁴ × 3 × 10⁸)/(450 × 10⁻⁹) = 4.417 × 10⁻¹⁹ J

Korak 2: Pretvori v eV (lažje za primerjavo) E = 4.417 × 10⁻¹⁹ J ÷ 1.602×1019J/eV1.602 × 10⁻¹⁹ J/eV ≈ 2.76 eV

Korak 3: Preveri pogoj Ker je E (2.76 eV) > Wi (2.14 eV), bo prišlo do pojava!

Korak 4: Izračunaj kinetično energijo Ek,max = E - Wi = 2.76 eV - 2.14 eV = 0.62 eV

💡 Nasvet: Vedno najprej preveri, ali je energija fotona dovolj velika za premaganje izstopnega dela!

Rešeni primeri - De Broglieva valovna dolžina

Primer: Izračunaj de Broglievo valovno dolžino za elektron me=9.11×1031kgme = 9.11 × 10⁻³¹ kg s hitrostjo v = 10⁶ m/s in žogico za tenis m=0.06kgm = 0.06 kg s hitrostjo v = 30 m/s.

Za elektron: λe = h/(mev) = (6.626 × 10⁻³⁴)/((9.11 × 10⁻³¹) × 10⁶) ≈ 7.27 × 10⁻¹⁰ m = 0.727 nm

Ta valovna dolžina je primerljiva z velikostjo atomov, zato so valovni pojavi pri elektronih opazni.

Za žogico: λžogica = h/(mv) = (6.626 × 10⁻³⁴)/((0.06) × 30) ≈ 3.68 × 10⁻³⁴ m

Ta valovna dolžina je absurdno majhna in je ne moremo izmeriti. Zato pri velikih predmetih ne opazimo valovnih lastnosti.

💡 Pomembna ugotovitev: Kvantni učinki so opazni le pri atomskih dimenzijah. V vsakdanjem življenju se svet obnaša klasično!

Primer: Svetloba z λ = 450 nm vpada na cezijevo ploščo. Izstopno delo za cezij je Wi = 2.14 eV. Ali pride do fotoelektričnega pojava in kolikšna je maksimalna kinetična energija elektronov?

Korak 1: Izračunaj energijo fotona E = hc/λ = (6.626 × 10⁻³⁴ × 3 × 10⁸)/(450 × 10⁻⁹) = 4.417 × 10⁻¹⁹ J

Korak 2: Pretvori v eV (lažje za primerjavo) E = 4.417 × 10⁻¹⁹ J ÷ 1.602×1019J/eV1.602 × 10⁻¹⁹ J/eV ≈ 2.76 eV

Korak 3: Preveri pogoj Ker je E (2.76 eV) > Wi (2.14 eV), bo prišlo do pojava!

Korak 4: Izračunaj kinetično energijo Ek,max = E - Wi = 2.76 eV - 2.14 eV = 0.62 eV

💡 Nasvet: Vedno najprej preveri, ali je energija fotona dovolj velika za premaganje izstopnega dela!

Primer: Izračunaj de Broglievo valovno dolžino za elektron me=9.11×1031kgme = 9.11 × 10⁻³¹ kg s hitrostjo v = 10⁶ m/s in žogico za tenis m=0.06kgm = 0.06 kg s hitrostjo v = 30 m/s.

Za elektron: λe = h/(mev) = (6.626 × 10⁻³⁴)/((9.11 × 10⁻³¹) × 10⁶) ≈ 7.27 × 10⁻¹⁰ m = 0.727 nm

Ta valovna dolžina je primerljiva z velikostjo atomov, zato so valovni pojavi pri elektronih opazni.

Za žogico: λžogica = h/(mv) = (6.626 × 10⁻³⁴)/((0.06) × 30) ≈ 3.68 × 10⁻³⁴ m

Ta valovna dolžina je absurdno majhna in je ne moremo izmeriti. Zato pri velikih predmetih ne opazimo valovnih lastnosti.

  • Napačno razumevanje dualnosti (mislijo, da delec kaže obe lastnosti hkrati)
