Lady Macbeth's soliloquy reveals her as the driving force behind Duncan's murder. Her chilling request to be "unsexed" shows how she's willing to abandon her femininity and morality to achieve power. This scene perfectly sets up the dynamic where she pushes Macbeth into action whilst he hesitates.

Macbeth's final battle and death brings everything full circle. When Macduff reveals he was "from his mother's womb untimely ripped" (born by caesarean), the prophecy's true meaning becomes clear. Macbeth's overreliance on supernatural promises leads directly to his downfall.
