Kako koristiti prošla vremena u engleskom jeziku

Osnove prošlih vremena
Zamišljaj prošla vremena kao vremenske mašine koja ti omogućavaju da opišeš sve što se već završilo. Past Simple koristiš kad pričaš o stvarima koje su se potpuno završile - kao što je "Juče sam završio domaći". Past Continuous ti pomaže da opišeš ono što si radio u nekom trenutku - "Sinoć u 8 sam gledao seriju".
Pravilni glagoli su tvoji prijatelji jer samo dodaš -ed i gotovo - play postaje played. Nepravilni glagoli su malo zahtevniji jer imaju svoje posebne oblike koje moraš da naučiš napamet, kao što je go → went.
💡 Savет: Na kontrolnom će sigurno biti kombinacija ova dva vremena, tako da dobro prati kako se koriste zajedno!
Past Simple - za završene radnje
Signalne reči kao što su yesterday, last week, ago ti odmah govore da koristiš Past Simple. One su kao alarmи koji ti kažu - ova radnja je završena!
Za potvrdne rečenice samo dodaš -ed ili koristiš drugu kolonu nepravilnih glagola. Za pitanja i odricanja uvek koristiš did/didn't plus osnovni oblik glagola. Ovo je ključno - nikad ne kažeš "didn't went" već "didn't go"!
Česta greška: Posle didn't glagol se UVEK vraća u osnovni oblik. Dakle, "They didn't watch the match" a ne "didn't watched".
💡 Savет: Zapamti - помоćни glagol "did" već pokazuje da je prošlo vreme, pa glavni glagol ostaje u osnovnom obliku!
Past Continuous - za radnje u toku
Past Continuous koristiš kad želiš da pokažeš da se nešto dešavalo u tačno određenom trenutku. Formula je jednostavna: was/were + glagol-ing. Was ide uz I, he, she, it, а were uz you, we, they.
Ovo vreme je savršeno kad opisuješ pozadinsku radnju - ono što si radio kad se nešto drugo desilo. "I was reading when mom called" znači da si čitao, a onda je mama pozvala i prekinula te.
Za pitanja samo staviš was/were na početak, а za odricanje dodaš wasn't/weren't. Mnogo je lakše од Past Simple jer nema pomoćnih glagola did/didn't!
💡 Savет: Stativni glagoli kao know, like, want se obično ne koriste u Continuous vremenima - kажeš "I knew" а ne "I was knowing"!
Kombinovanje vremena - najbitniji deo
Ovde dolazi najvažniji trik - koristiš Past Continuous za dužu radnju koja je bila u toku, а Past Simple za kraću radnju koja ju je prekinula. When staviš ispred kraće radnje, while ispred duže.
"I was doing homework when my friend texted me" - domaći je duža radnja (Past Continuous), poruka je kratka (Past Simple). Možeš і obrnuto: "My friend texted me while I was doing homework" - isto značenje!
Kad се dve radnje dešavaju istovremeno, obe stavljaš u Past Continuous: "While I was studying, my brother was playing games."
💡 Savет: Predstavljaj Past Continuous kao pozadinu filma, а Past Simple kao glavnu radnju koja se dešava!
Nepravilni glagoli i česte greške
Nepravilni glagoli su kao specijalni kodovi koje moraš da znaš napamet. Svaki dan ponovi po 5 glagola i brzo ćeš ih sve savladati. Go → went, see → saw, do → did - ovi su najčešći na testovima.
Najveća greška је didn't + prošli oblik glagola. Zapamti - didn't već pokazuje prošlost, pa glagol ostaje osnovni! "He didn't go" а ne "didn't went".
Stativni glagoli opisuju stanje, ne radnju, pa se ne koriste u Continuous vremenima. Kažeš "I wanted ice cream" а ne "I was wanting ice cream".
💡 Savет: Pravi kartice sa nepravilnim glagolima - infinitiv na jednoj, past simple na drugoj strani. Pet minuta dnevno је dovoljno!
Kratak pregled za test

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
