Kaj so pravzaprav glive?
Ko slišiš besedo "gliva", verjetno pomisliš na gobe v gozdu. Toda tisto, kar vidiš, je samo majhen del celotne zgodbe! Gliva je celoten organizem, sestavljen iz dveh delov.
Micelej (ali podgobje) je pravi junak te zgodbe. To je mreža tankih nitk, imenovanih hife, ki se razprostira pod zemljo ali v lesu kot ogromna podzemna mreža. Ta del glive je odgovoren za iskanje in črpanje hrane.
Trosnjak - to je tista "goba", ki jo vidiš nad zemljo s klobukom in betom. Njegova edina naloga je ustvarjanje in širjenje trosov (drobnih delcev, podobnih semenom), s katerimi se glive razmnožujejo.
💡 Pomisli na to: Goba je za glivo kot jabolko za jablano - samo "plod" za razmnoževanje!
Zakaj glive niso rastline?
To je eno najpogostejših vprašanj! Čeprav rastejo iz tal, glive nimajo klorofila in ne morejo izvajati fotosinteze. To pomeni, da si ne morejo same proizvajati hrane, ampak jo morajo dobiti iz okolja - so heterotrofi.
Še ena velika razlika je celična stena. Rastline imajo celično steno iz celuloze, glive pa iz kitina - iste snovi, ki jo najdeš v oklepih žuželk in rakov!
Glive tudi niso živali, čeprav so prav tako heterotrofi. Razlika je v tem, da se glive ne premikajo in imajo celično steno. Poleg tega prebavljajo hrano zunaj svojega telesa - izločijo encime v okolico, ki razgradijo hrano, nato pa jo posrkajo skozi hife.

Kako se glive prehranjujejo?
Glive imajo tri glavne načine prehranjevanja, ki jih dela super pomembne za naravo. Razkrojevalci se hranijo z odmrlimi organizmi in tako čistijo okolje - predstavljaj si jih kot naravne čistilce!
Zajedavci živijo na račun drugih organizmov in jim lahko škodijo. Nekatere plesni spadajo v to skupino in lahko pokvarijo hrano ali povzročijo bolezni.
Simbionti pa sodelujejo z drugimi organizmi za obojestransko korist. Najbolj znan primer je mikoriza - sodelovanje med glivami in koreninami dreves. Gliva dobi od drevesa sladkorje, drevo pa od glive minerale in vodo.
Kvasovke so posebne enocelične glive, ki jih uporabljamo za peko kruha. Ko dodaš kvas v testo, se kvasovke hranijo s sladkorjem in sproščajo plin CO₂, zaradi katerega testo vzhaja!
💡 Praktičen primer: Brez kvasovk ne bi imeli mehkega kruha - one so tiste, ki naredijo testo rahlo!

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
