Prítomný priebehový čas: Ako ho správne použiť

Čo je prítomný priebehový čas a prečo ho potrebuješ
Keď chceš povedať po anglicky "Práve sa učím" alebo "Mama varí večeru", musíš použiť Present Continuous. Je to jednoduché - potrebuješ len dve veci!
Prvá vec je sloveso "byť" v správnom tvare. Pre "ja" povieš am, pre "ty/my/oni" povieš are a pre "on/ona/ono" povieš is. Druhá vec je pridať -ing na koniec hlavného slovesa.
Takže vzorec znie: podmet + am/is/are + sloveso s -ing. Napríklad: I am reading (Ja čítam), She is playing (Ona sa hrá), We are learning (My sa učíme).
Tip: Najčastejšia chyba je zabudnúť na am/is/are. Nikdy nehovor "I reading" - vždy "I am reading"!
Kedy používame prítomný priebehový čas
Tento čas má dva hlavné použitia a oba sú super praktické! Prvé je pre činnosti, ktoré sa dejú práve teraz. Keď píšeš správu a chceš povedať "Pozerám film", povieš "I am watching a movie".
Druhé použitie je pre dočasné veci. Ak tvoj brat býva tento mesiac u babky, povieš "My brother is staying at grandma's this month". Nie je to natrvalo, len dočasne.
Pozoruj signálne slová ako now, right now, at the moment, today, this week. Keď ich vidíš, takmer určite použiješ prítomný priebehový čas.
Pozor: Niektoré slovesá ako "like", "love" alebo "know" sa v priebehovom čase nepoužívajú. Hovor "I like pizza", nie "I am liking pizza".
Ako tvoriť otázky a zápor
Otázky sú hračka! Jednoducho prehodíš am/is/are pred podmet. Zo "She is reading" sa stane "Is she reading?" Zo "They are playing" sa stane "Are they playing?"
Pre zápor pridáš "not" hneď za am/is/are. "I am not eating dinner" alebo "She is not watching TV". Môžeš aj skrátiť: isn't namiesto "is not" a aren't namiesto "are not".
Skús si to: "Oni sa nehrajú vonku" = "They are not playing outside" alebo "They aren't playing outside". Vidíš? Je to ľahké!
Skúška: Ak si nevieš spomenúť na vzorec, myslí na vetu "Som práve jedenie" - znie to čudne, že? Správne je "Som práve jedúci" = "I am eating".
Rozdiel medzi Present Simple a Present Continuous
Toto je kľúčové pre testy! Present Simple používaš pre veci, ktoré robíš bežne, stále, opakovane. "I play football every Saturday" znamená, že každú sobotu hrávaš futbal.
Present Continuous používaš pre to, čo sa deje teraz. "I am playing football now" znamená, že práve teraz hráš futbal. Vidíš ten rozdiel?
Ďalší príklad: "She goes to school by bus" (chodí autobusom bežne) verzus "She is going to school now" (práve teraz ide do školy). Jedno je zvyk, druhé je momentálna akcia.
Pamätaj si: Slová ako "always", "usually", "every day" = Present Simple. Slová ako "now", "right now" = Present Continuous.
Praktické cvičenia a riešenia
Skúsme si to na príkladoch! Príklad 1: "Moja sestra číta knihu práve teraz." Kto? My sister. Aké sloveso "byť"? Is (pre tretiu osobu). Čo robí? reading. Výsledok: "My sister is reading a book right now."
Príklad 2: Urob otázku z "You are listening to music." Prehoď are na začiatok: "Are you listening to music?" Jednoduché!
Príklad 3: Zápor z "They are doing homework." Pridaj not: "They are not doing homework" alebo "They aren't doing homework."
Pozor na pravopis: write → writing (e vypadne), run → running (n sa zdvojí), play → playing .
Rýchly súhrn na test
Tu je všetko, co potrebuješ vedieť! Použitie: činnosti práve teraz alebo dočasné situácie. Tvorenie: podmet + am/is/are + sloveso s -ing.
Otázky: Am/Is/Are na začiatok. Zápor: pridaj "not" za am/is/are. Kľúčové slová: now, right now, at the moment, today.
Rozdiel od Present Simple: Continuous = teraz, Simple = vždy/bežne. Nezabudni na am/is/are a správny pravopis pri -ing!
Záverečný tip: Keď si neistý, spýtaj sa: "Deje sa to práve teraz?" Ak áno, použi Present Continuous!
