Přítomné časy - Simple Present a Present Progressive
Simple Present používáš pro věci, které se opakují každý den nebo jsou prostě pravdivé. Mluvíš tak o svých zvycích, faktech nebo pocitích.
Poznej ho podle slov jako always, every day, often nebo usually. Například: "Every day Sarah eats dinner" znamená, že Sarah večeří každý den - je to její zvyk.
Present Progressive naopak popisuje, co se děje právě teď nebo dočasně. Poznáš ho podle now, right now nebo at the moment.
💡 Tip: Pokud vidíš "right now" ve větě, téměř vždy použiješ Present Progressive!
Když řekneš "I am doing the dishes right now", všichni vědí, že myješ nádobí v tento konkrétní okamžik, ne každý den.
Minulé časy - Simple Past a Past Progressive
Simple Past je tvůj nejlepší kámoš pro vyprávění dokončených příběhů z minulosti. Používáš ho, když něco začalo a skončilo v minulosti.
Hledej signální slova yesterday, last Friday, in 1989 nebo two minutes ago. "Last Friday Tom watched TV" - Tom se díval na televizi a už přestal, děj je hotový.
Past Progressive ti pomůže vyprávět, co se zrovna dělo v minulosti. Často ho kombinuješ s jinými ději, které se do toho "vložily".
💡 Tip: Když vidíš "while" nebo "when", často následuje Past Progressive!
"When I was making dinner, the door rang" - připravoval jsi večeři (to trvalo) a někdo zazvonil (to bylo rychlé).

Present Perfect spojuje minulost s přítomností. Používáš ho pro zkušenosti, změny nebo věci, které stále ovlivňují současnost.
Poznej ho podle already, ever, just, never nebo so far. "Have you ever run a marathon?" - ptáš se na zkušenost, kterou někdo může nebo nemusí mít.
Present Perfect Progressive zdůrazňuje, jak dlouho něco trvá až dodnes. Je perfektní pro aktivity, které začaly v minulosti a stále pokračují.
💡 Tip: Slova "for" a "since" téměř vždy signalizují Perfect Progressive časy!
Past Perfect používáš, když chceš ukázat, že něco skončilo ještě před jiným dějem v minulosti. "I had already finished my homework" - domácí úkol byl hotový ještě před něčím dalším.
Budoucí časy - Future Simple a jeho varianty
Future Simple máš ve dvou verzích: will a going to. Každá má jiné použití, takže si to zapamatuj!
Will používáš pro spontánní rozhodnutí a sliby: "It will rain tomorrow." Going to je pro plány, které už máš: "I am going to visit my friend next year."
Future Progressive popisuje, co se bude dít v konkrétní chvíli v budoucnosti. "I will be waiting for you tomorrow at 10 am" - v 10 hodin ráno budeš určitě čekat.
💡 Tip: Časová údaje jako "next week" nebo "tomorrow" ti pomůžou rozpoznat budoucí časy!
Future Perfect je pro věci, které budou hotové do určitého času: "I will have finished this project by Monday."
Future Progressive a Future Perfect Progressive
Future Progressive ti ukáže přerušované děje v budoucnosti nebo atmosféru, která bude panovat. "They will be sounding very bad" - popisuješ, jak budou znít v budoucnu.
Používáš ho také pro paralelní děje v budoucnosti nebo když chceš ukázat konkrétní okamžik: "I will be waiting for you tomorrow at 10 am."
Future Perfect Progressive je nejkomplexnější čas, který zdůrazňuje průběh dlouhotrvajícího děje v budoucnosti.
💡 Tip: Pokud vidíš "for hours" nebo "all day long" s budoucností, pravděpodobně půjde o Future Perfect Progressive!
"If you come, I will have been waiting for hours" - do té doby, než přijdeš, už budeš čekat dlouho a stále budeš čekat.
Jak si anglické časy zapamatovat
Klíček k úspěchu je pochopit signální slova - jsou to tvoji pomocníci, kteří ti napovědí správný čas. Když vidíš "always", myslíš na Simple Present, když vidíš "now", jdeš na Present Progressive.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming.
