Úvod do anglických časů a přítomné časy
Anglické časy fungují jako GPS pro tvoje myšlenky – ukazují přesně kdy a jak dlouho se něco děje. Na rozdíl od češtiny má angličtina víc možností, jak vyjádřit čas.
Simple Present používáš pro věci, které se opakují. Signální slova jako every day, usually, often ti prozradí, že jde o tento čas. Tvoříš ho jednoduše: infinitiv + u třetí osoby přidáš -s.
Present Progressive je tvůj kámoš, když popisuješ, co se děje právě teď. Slyšíš now, at the moment, Look!? To je jasný signál. Vzorec: am/is/are + sloveso + -ing.
💡 Tip: Present Progressive často používáš při popisu obrázků v testech!
Pokročilé přítomné časy a budoucnost
Present Perfect je génius mezi časy – spojuje minulost s přítomností. Když něco začalo dřív, ale stále to ovlivňuje současnost, tohle je tvoje volba. Poznáš ho podle since, for, already, yet.
Present Perfect Progressive přidává drama – zdůrazňuje, jak dlouho něco trvá. Vzorec: have/has + been + -ing. Perfektní pro věty typu "učím se už tři hodiny".
Pro budoucnost máš dvě hlavní možnosti. Will-future pro spontánní rozhodnutí ("Pomůžu ti!") a going to future pro plány ("Budu se učit"). Rozdíl? Will = nápad na poslední chvíli, going to = už jsi to plánoval.
💡 Tip: Going to často používáš, když vidíš, že se něco chystá stát!
Minulé časy – jednodušší, než si myslíš
Simple Past je jednoduchý – něco se stalo a je to hotové. Signály: yesterday, last week, in 1990. U pravidelných sloves přidáš -ed, u nepravidelných musíš znát druhý tvar.
Past Progressive maluje obrázek z minulosti – něco probíhalo, když se stalo něco jiného. "Četl jsem, když zazvonil telefon." Vzorec: was/were + -ing.
Tohle zvládneš snadno, protože minulé časy jsou logičtější než přítomné. Jen si pamatuj: prostý čas = hotová věc, průběhový = něco probíhalo.
💡 Tip: Past Progressive často najdeš ve větách s when – jedna akce přerušila druhou!
Předminulé časy – když potřebuješ být precizní
Past Perfect používáš, když chceš ukázat, že jedna věc se stala před druhou v minulosti. Je to jako flashback ve filmu. Vzorec: had + třetí tvar slovesa.
Past Perfect Progressive přidává informaci o tom, jak dlouho něco trvalo před určitým bodem v minulosti. "Pracoval jsem tři hodiny, když zavolala." Vzorec: had + been + -ing.
Tyto časy nejsou tak děsivé, jak vypadají. Většinou je potkáš v složitějších textech nebo když vyprávíš komplikovanější příběh. V běžné konverzaci je nepoužíváš tak často.
💡 Tip: Předminulé časy se hodí hlavně v písemných pracích, kdy chceš ukázat přesnou posloupnost událostí!

Tady máš všechno na jednom místě – deset základních časů, jejich použití a tvoření. Tabulka je tvůj rychlý průvodce při psaní nebo mluvení.
Klíčová věc: neučíš se časy jako izolované vzorce, ale jako nástroje pro vyjádření tvých myšlenek. Každý čas má svůj důvod existence.
Začni s těmi nejčastějšími: Simple Present, Present Progressive, Simple Past a Will-future. Až je budeš mít v malíčku, přidej postupně ostatní.
💡 Tip: Při učení si časy procvič na vlastních příkladech z tvého života – tak si je lépe zapamatuješ!
Závěr – kontext je král
Nejdůležitější rada na závěr: časy nejsou jen o gramatice, ale o kontextu. Neptej se jen "jak se to tvoří", ale hlavně "kdy to použiju".
S praxi získáš cit pro to, který čas kdy použít. Čti anglické texty, sleduj filmy a všímej si, jak native speakeři časy používají.
💡 Tip: Časy se nejlépe naučíš používáním, ne biflováním pravidel!
