Přehled anglických časů
Anglické časy fungují jako GPS pro tvoje věty - pomáhají navigovat v čase a ukázat, kdy se co děje. Na rozdíl od češtiny má angličtina mnohem víc časů, ale každý má svůj jasný účel.
Anglické časy se dělí do tří hlavních skupin: přítomné, minulé a budoucí. Každá skupina obsahuje několik variant podle toho, jestli se jedná o jednorázovou akci, nebo něco, co trvá delší dobu.
Klíčem k úspěchu jsou signální slova - jako malé nápovědy, které ti prozradí, který čas máš použít. Třeba když vidíš "always" nebo "every day", víš, že potřebuješ přítomný čas prostý.
Tip: Začni s přítomným časem prostým - je nejjednodušší a používá se nejčastěji!
Přítomné časy - Simple Present a Present Progressive
Simple Present je tvůj nejlepší kamarád v angličtině. Používáš ho pro zvyky, pravdy a všechno, co se opakuje. Tvoří se jednoduše - vezmeš infinitiv a u he/she/it přidáš -s nebo -es.
Pozor na signální slova jako "always", "often", "sometimes" - jsou jasný signál pro Simple Present. Příklad: "I walk to school every day" nebo "She walks to work."
Present Progressive zase potřebuješ, když se něco děje právě teď nebo je to dočasné. Tvořím ho pomocí "to be + sloveso-ing". Typická signální slova jsou "now", "at the moment", "today".
Pozor: Někdy říkáme "I'm loving it" (McDonald's), ale správně je "I love it" - slova pocitů se obvykle nepoužívají v průběhovém čase!
Přítomné časy - Present Perfect
Present Perfect je trochu komplikovanější, ale super užitečný čas. Používáš ho, když něco začalo v minulosti, ale má vliv na současnost. Je to jako most mezi minulostí a přítomností.
Tvoří se pomocí "has/have + 3. tvar slovesa". U pravidelných sloves přidáš -ed, u nepravidelných musíš znát 3. tvar . Typická signální slova jsou "already", "just", "ever", "never".
Present Perfect Progressive ukázuje, že něco začalo v minulosti a pořád to trvá. Používáš "has/have been + sloveso-ing". Často se ptáš "How long?" - "Jak dlouho už to děláš?"
Rozdíl: "I have read the book" (přečetl jsem ji) vs. "I have been reading the book" (čtu ji už delší dobu a možná ještě neskončil)
Minulé časy - Simple Past a Past Progressive
Simple Past je jednoduchý - používáš ho pro věci, které se staly a skončily v minulosti. U pravidelných sloves přidáš -ed, nepravidelná si musíš pamatovat .
Signální slova jako "yesterday", "last week", "in 2020" ti hned prozradí, že potřebuješ Simple Past. "I walked to school yesterday" nebo "She ate pizza last night."
Past Progressive potřebuješ, když něco v minulosti trvalo delší dobu nebo se to dělo současně s něčím jiným. Tvořím pomocí "was/were + sloveso-ing".
Super tip: Past Progressive často používáš se slovem "while" - "I was studying while she was cooking."
Minulé časy - Past Perfect
Past Perfect je jako "minulost minulosti" - používáš ho, když jedna věc v minulosti předcházela jiné věci v minulosti. Tvoří se pomocí "had + 3. tvar slovesa".
Signální slova jako "before", "after", "when" ti pomohou rozpoznat, kdy ho použít. "I had finished homework before mom came home" - domácí úkoly byly hotové dřív, než máma přišla.
Past Perfect Progressive ukazuje, že něco v minulosti trvalo delší dobu před nějakou jinou událostí. Používáš "had been + sloveso-ing" s signálními slovy "for" a "since".
Představ si to jako film: Past Perfect je flashback - ukážeš, co se stalo ještě dřív než hlavní příběh.
Budoucí časy - Will Future a Going to Future
Will Future používáš pro předpovědi, spontánní rozhodnutí nebo obecná tvrzení o budoucnosti. Jednoduše řekneš "will + infinitiv bez to". "It will rain tomorrow" nebo "I'll help you!"
Going to Future je pro plány a záměry, které už máš připravené, nebo když vidíš, že se něco určitě stane. Tvoří se "to be going to + infinitiv". "I'm going to study medicine" nebo "Look at those clouds - it's going to rain!"
Rozdíl je jednoduchý: will je spontánní , going to je plánované ("I'm going to call him later").
Pamatuj si: Když vidíš známky, že se něco stane , použij "going to"!
Pokročilé budoucí časy
Future Progressive používáš, když něco bude v budoucnosti trvat delší dobu. Tvoří se "will be + sloveso-ing". "Tomorrow at 3 PM I will be studying" - ve 3 budu zrovna studovat.
Future Perfect ukazuje, že něco bude dokončené do určitého času v budoucnosti. Používáš "will have + 3. tvar". "By next week, I will have finished the project."
Future Perfect Progressive je pro činnosti, které už začaly a budou dokončené až později. "will have been + sloveso-ing". "By December, I will have been learning English for two years."
Tip pro zkoušky: Tyto časy se často objevují se signálními slovy "by" (do určitého času) a "for" (po určitou dobu).
Podmínkové věty - Typy 0 a 1
Podmínkové věty jsou jako "co když" situace - ukážou, co se stane za určitých podmínek. Existují čtyři typy, každý pro jinou situaciju.
Typ 0 používáš pro obecné pravdy a vědecké fakty. Obě části věty jsou v Simple Present. "If you heat water to 100°C, it boils" - to prostě funguje vždycky.
Typ 1 je pro reálné situace, které se můžou stát. If-část je Simple Present, hlavní část Will Future. "If it rains, we will stay inside" - možná prší, možná ne.
Zapamatuj si: Typ 0 = vždycky pravda, Typ 1 = možná se to stane!
Podmínkové věty - Typy 2 a 3
Typ 2 používáš pro nereálné nebo nepravděpodobné situace v současnosti. If-část je Simple Past, hlavní část "would + infinitiv". "If I were rich, I would travel the world" - ale nejsem bohatý.
Typ 3 je pro situace v minulosti, které se už nestaly a nedají se změnit. If-část je Past Perfect, hlavní část "would have + 3. tvar". "If I had studied harder, I would have passed the exam" - ale už je pozdě.
Typ 2 = nesplnitelné teď, Typ 3 = nesplnitelné nikdy (minulost se nedá změnit).
Pro zkoušky: Pozor na "If I were you" - i pro "I" používáš "were", ne "was"!

The app is very easy to use and well designed. I have found everything I was looking for so far and have been able to learn a lot from the presentations! I will definitely use the app for a class assignment! And of course it also helps a lot as an inspiration.

Wow, I am really amazed. I just tried the app because I've seen it advertised many times and was absolutely stunned. This app is THE HELP you want for school and above all, it offers so many things, such as workouts and fact sheets, which have been VERY helpful to me personally.

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! Knowunity is the BEST app I’ve used in a minute. This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming. I love it and my mom is just happy I got good grades

The app's just great! All I have to do is enter the topic in the search bar and I get the response real fast. I don't have to watch 10 YouTube videos to understand something, so I'm saving my time. Highly recommended!

I found this app a couple years ago and it has only gotten better since then. I really love it because it can help with written questions and photo questions. Also, it can find study guides that other people have made as well as flashcard sets and practice tests. The free version is also amazing for students who might not be able to afford it. Would 100% recommend

This app is phenomenal down to the correct info and the various topics you can study! I greatly recommend it for people who struggle with procrastination and those who need homework help. It has been perfectly accurate for world 1 history as far as I’ve seen! Geometry too!
