条件付き確率の基礎
条件付き確率って聞くと難しそうだけど、実は君たちが普段から使っている考え方なんだ。「もし〜なら、△△が起こる確率はどのくらい？」という疑問に答えるのが条件付き確率だよ。
事象Bが起こったという条件のもとで、事象Aが起こる確率をと書く。例えば、「雨が降ったという条件で、電車が遅れる確率」みたいな感じだね。この確率を求めることを「条件づけ」と呼んでいる。
基本の公式はこれだ：。AとBが同時に起こる確率を、Bが起こる確率で割れば求められる。
覚えておこう！ ベン図を描くと、条件付き確率は「BというエリアのなかでAが占める割合」として視覚的に理解できるよ。
実際の工場の例を見てみよう。3台の機械があって、それぞれ違う確率で不良品を作る。もし不良品を見つけたとき、それがどの機械で作られたかを推定するのに条件付き確率が役立つんだ。
条件付き確率を理解すると、原因を推定する力が身につく。これは将来、データ分析や意思決定をするときにめちゃくちゃ重要なスキルになるよ。
