文字式の計算
君たちが普段使っている数字だけの計算から、文字を使った計算の世界へ進むときがきたね！文字式は、aやbのような文字を数字の代わりに使って計算する方法のこと。
大事な用語と基本的な考え方を押さえよう。文字式では、同じ文字同士しか足したり引いたりできないんだ。例えば、2a + 3a = 5a のように、同じaの項だけをまとめることができる。
計算のしかたには決まったパターンがある。表で示されているように、amとan、bmとbnのような項は、共通する文字でまとめて考えるのがポイントだ。
覚えておこう！ 文字式の計算は、同じ文字の項だけをまとめるのが基本ルール。違う文字同士は計算できないよ。
テストで気をつけることは、符号（プラスやマイナス）を間違えないこと。計算の順序を守って、一つずつ丁寧に解いていけば大丈夫だよ！
