遺伝の法則って何？
君の目の色や血液型が両親に似ているのは、遺伝という仕組みのおかげなんだ。この遺伝には決まったルールがあることを、メンデルという科学者がエンドウを使った実験で発見した。
まず覚えておきたいのは、形質（生物の形や性質）は遺伝子によって決まるということ。例えば、エンドウの種子が丸いかしわかは、遺伝子の組み合わせで決まる。
顕性の形質（大文字のA）と潜性の形質（小文字のa）という概念も重要だよ。顕性は表に現れやすい形質で、潜性は隠れやすい形質のこと。昔は優性・劣性って呼んでたけど、今は顕性・潜性が正しい用語だ。
💡 ここがポイント！ 分離の法則は遺伝の最重要ルール。生殖細胞ができるとき、対の遺伝子が分かれて別々に入ることを覚えておこう。
メンデルの実験：親から子の代へ
メンデルがエンドウを選んだ理由は簡単。育てやすくて、丸い種子としわの種子みたいに対立形質がはっきりしてたからだ。
実験では、まず純系（ずっと同じ形質しか生まれない個体）を準備する。丸い種子をつくる純系（AA）としわの種子をつくる純系（aa）をかけ合わせるんだ。
すると子の代（F1）は、遺伝子型がすべてAaになる。でも表現型（実際の見た目）は、Aが顕性だからすべて「丸い種子」になるよ。
💡 ここがポイント！ 子の代では顕性の形質だけが現れて、潜性の形質は完全に隠れてしまう。でも遺伝子は消えてないからね！
孫の代で潜性形質が復活！
ここからが面白いところ。子の代（Aa）を自家受粉させると、孫の代（F2）で隠れていた潜性の形質が再登場するんだ。
分離の法則によって、Aaの個体は生殖細胞を作るときにAとaを1:1の割合で分ける。それらがランダムに受精すると、孫の代の遺伝子型はAA:Aa:aa = 1:2:1の比になる。
表現型で見ると、AAとAaが「丸い種子」、aaが「しわの種子」だから、顕性:潜性 = 3:1という黄金比率が生まれる。
この3:1の比率は、メンデルの法則の象徴的な数字で、テストでも必ず出てくるから絶対に覚えておこう。
💡 ここがポイント！ 孫の代の表現型比3:1は、遺伝の基本中の基本。この比率が出たら「メンデルの法則だ！」と思ってOK。
計算問題の解き方をマスターしよう
遺伝の問題は、パネットスクエア（表）を使えば確実に解けるんだ。難しく考えなくても大丈夫！
例えば、Aa同士をかけ合わせる問題なら、まずAaが作る生殖細胞はAとaが1:1。これを縦と横に書いて表を作る。すると4つのマスができて、AA、Aa、Aa、aaという組み合わせが見えるよね。
遺伝子型の比はAA:Aa:aa = 1:2:1、表現型の比は顕性:潜性 = 3:1になる。この手順を覚えれば、どんな組み合わせでも解けるはず。
計算ミスを防ぐコツは、必ず表を書くこと。頭の中だけで考えようとすると、案外間違えちゃうからね。
💡 ここがポイント！ パネットスクエアは遺伝問題の必殺技。面倒でも必ず表を書いて、確実に答えを導き出そう。
実践問題で理解を深めよう
赤い花（RR）と白い花（rr）のマツバボタンの問題で練習してみよう。この場合、赤が顕性、白が潜性だ。
子の代（F1）では、すべてRrになって表現型は全部赤い花。これは基本パターンだね。孫の代（F2）では、RR:Rr:rr = 1:2:1の比で現れる。
「白い花は何%現れるか？」という問題なら、白い花になるrrは全体の1/4だから、25%が答えになる。パーセント計算も忘れずに！
テストでよくある引っ掛けポイントは、「遺伝子型を答えよ」と「表現型を答えよ」を混同すること。遺伝子型はAA、Aaみたいなアルファベット、表現型は「赤い花」みたいな実際の特徴だよ。
💡 ここがポイント！ 問題文で「遺伝子型」と「表現型」どちらを聞かれているか、必ず確認しよう。ケアレスミスを防げるぞ！
テストで差がつくポイント
「すべて」と「ある割合で」という言葉に注目しよう。子の代（F1）は「すべて」同じ表現型になるけど、孫の代（F2）は「ある割合で」両方の形質が現れる。この違いを理解していれば、問題のレベルがぐっと上がるよ。
特殊な組み合わせもある。例えば、Aaとaaをかけ合わせると、表現型比は1:1になる。基本の3:1とは違うから、パネットスクエアで確認することが大切だ。
メンデルの遺伝法則で最も重要なのは、分離の法則と孫の代での3:1の比率。この2つを軸に、どんな問題でも冷静に表を書いて解けば必ず正解できる。
