酸と塩基の基本定義
酸と塩基って聞くと難しそうだけど、実は君も毎日接してるんだ。お酢や炭酸飲料が酸性、石鹸や重曹が塩基性だからね。
アレニウスの定義が一番シンプル。水に溶けて**水素イオン（H⁺）**を出すのが酸、**水酸化物イオン（OH⁻）**を出すのが塩基だ。塩酸（HCl）が水に溶けるとH⁺を放出するし、水酸化ナトリウム（NaOH）はOH⁻を出すよね。
価数も覚えておこう。これは1つの分子がどれだけのH⁺やOH⁻を出せるかってこと。塩酸は1価の酸、硫酸（H₂SO₄）は2価の酸になる。
ワンポイント: アレニウスの定義は水溶液でしか使えないのが弱点。でもテストでよく出るから確実に覚えよう！
アレニウス定義の具体例
アレニウスの定義を使って、具体的な電離反応を見てみよう。これがテストで一番出やすいパターンだ。
酸の例では、塩化水素が「HCl → H⁺ + Cl⁻」と電離する。硫酸なら「H₂SO₄ → 2H⁺ + SO₄²⁻」で、H⁺を2つ出すから2価の酸だ。
塩基の例だと、水酸化ナトリウムが「NaOH → Na⁺ + OH⁻」、水酸化カルシウムが「Ca(OH)₂ → Ca²⁺ + 2OH⁻」となる。後者は2価の塩基だね。
でもこの定義には限界がある。アンモニア（NH₃）は明らかに塩基性なのに、OH⁻を分子内に持ってないから説明できないんだ。
ワンポイント: 価数の判断は分子式を見れば一発！HがいくつあるかorOHがいくつあるかをチェックしよう。
ブレンステッド・ローリーの定義
アレニウスの定義の問題を解決したのがブレンステッド・ローリーの定義だ。これはプロトン（H⁺）の授受に注目してる。
酸はH⁺を与えるプロトン供与体、塩基はH⁺を受け取るプロトン受容体って考え方。これならアンモニアの謎も解ける！
アンモニアと水の反応「NH₃ + H₂O ⇌ NH₄⁺ + OH⁻」を見てみよう。水がアンモニアにH⁺を与えてるから、水が酸でアンモニアが塩基として働いてる。
面白いことに、水（H₂O）は相手によって酸にも塩基にもなれる。こういう物質を両性物質って呼ぶんだ。
ワンポイント: この定義なら水以外の溶媒でも使える！より応用が利く定義だから、発展問題でよく出てくるよ。
共役酸・共役塩基の関係
ブレンステッド・ローリーの定義で重要なのが共役酸塩基対の概念。これが理解できれば、化学平衡の単元でも楽になる。
酸がH⁺を放出した後に残るのが共役塩基、塩基がH⁺を受け取ってできるのが共役酸だ。酢酸の反応「CH₃COOH + H₂O ⇌ CH₃COO⁻ + H₃O⁺」で考えてみよう。
CH₃COOHから H⁺が取れるとCH₃COO⁻になる。この2つが共役酸塩基対。同じようにH₃O⁺とH₂Oも共役酸塩基対を作ってる。
アレニウスとブレンステッド・ローリーの使い分けも大事。水溶液ならアレニウスで十分だけど、NH₃や非水系ではブレンステッド・ローリーが必要になる。
ワンポイント: 共役関係は「酸 ⇌ 共役塩基 + H⁺」の形で覚えよう。矢印の向きを意識するのがコツ！
実践問題で理解を深める
例題をやって実力をチェックしよう。まず価数の判定から。HNO₃は「HNO₃ → H⁺ + NO₃⁻」で1価の酸、KOHは「KOH → K⁺ + OH⁻」で1価の塩基だ。
H₂Sは「H₂S ⇌ 2H⁺ + S²⁻」となって2価の酸になる。分子式のHの数を数えれば簡単だよね。
次にブレンステッド・ローリーの問題。「HCl + NH₃ → NH₄⁺ + Cl⁻」で、HClがH⁺を失ってCl⁻に、NH₃がH⁺を得てNH₄⁺になってる。だからHClが酸、NH₃が塩基だ。
実際の水溶液では、H⁺は単独で存在せず**オキソニウムイオン（H₃O⁺）**として存在してる。でも反応式では簡単のためH⁺と書くことが多い。
ワンポイント: 問題文でどちらの定義を使うか指定されてることが多い。しっかり読んでから解答しよう！
強弱の分類とまとめ
最後に強酸・弱酸と強塩基・弱塩基の分類を押さえておこう。これは電離度の違いで決まる。
強酸（HCl、H₂SO₄、HNO₃）はほぼ100%電離するけど、弱酸（CH₃COOH、H₂CO₃）は一部しか電離しない。塩基も同様で、NaOHやKOHは強塩基、NH₃は弱塩基だ。
試験前のチェックポイントをまとめると：アレニウスは水中でのH⁺/OH⁻の放出、ブレンステッド・ローリーはH⁺の授受、価数は1分子あたりのイオン数、共役関係はH⁺の移動で決まる。
両方の定義をマスターすれば、中和反応やpHの計算もスムーズに理解できるようになる。化学の基礎中の基礎だから、しっかり身につけよう！

This app is phenomenal down to the correct info and the various topics you can study! I greatly recommend it for people who struggle with procrastination and those who need homework help. It has been perfectly accurate for world 1 history as far as I’ve seen! Geometry too!
