Osnove mrežnih protokola
Zamišljaj mrežne protokole kao pravila saobraćaja na internetu - svaki uređaj mora da ih poštuje da bi komunikacija funkcionisała. Svaki put kada pošalješ poruku ili otvoriš Instagram, pokreće se ceo lanac protokola koji rade zajedno.
Paket je osnovna jedinica podataka koja putuje kroz mrežu. Tvoja poruka se deli na male delove (pakete), svaki dobija "adresnu nalepnicu" i putuje nezavisno do odredišta. Na kraju se svi paketi sklope nazad u originalnu poruku.
IP adresa je kao poštanska adresa tvog uređaja na internetu. Bez nje, internet ne bi znao gde da ti pošalje podatke. Port je broj koji označava koju aplikaciju na uređaju - dok IP adresa nalazi tvoj telefon, port 443 kaže da podaci idu za Chrome, a ne za Viber.
💡 Zapamti: IP adresa = adresa zgrade, port = broj stana u toj zgradi

IP je nepouzdan protokol - ne garantuje da će paket stići, može se izgubiti ili stići van redosleda. Ovo zvuči loše, ali zapravo je genijalno jer omogućava brzinu i fleksibilnost. Ruteri jednostavno čitaju adresu i prosleđuju paket dalje.
Svaki paket dobija zaglavlje sa IP adresom pošaljaoca i primaoca. Ruteri koriste ove informacije da bi znali kuda da pošalju paket na sledećem "skoku" ka odredištu.
💡 Važno za ispit: IP se bavi samo rutiranjem, ne i pouzdanošću - to rade protokoli višeg sloja
TCP vs UDP - dve filozofije prenosa
TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) je kao preporučeno pismo sa povratnicom - sporo, ali sigurno. Uspostavlja konekciju pre slanja, proverava da li su svi paketi stigli i u pravom redosledu. Koristi se za web stranice, email i prenos fajlova.
UDP (User Datagram Protocol) je kao SMS - brzo, bez garancije. Jednostavno "ispaljuje" podatke bez provera. Savršen je za gaming, video pozive i streaming gde je brzina bitnija od toga što se izgubi pokoji paket.
Glavne razlike:
- Pouzdanost: TCP garantuje isporuku, UDP ne
- Brzina: UDP je mnogo brži jer nema provere
- Konekcija: TCP uspostavlja vezu, UDP ne

HTTP/HTTPS - jezik web stranica
HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) je protokol koji tvoj browser koristi da "razgovara" sa web serverima. Funkcioniše jednostavno - ti pošalješ zahtev (GET za učitavanje stranice, POST za slanje forme), server ti vrati odgovor sa sadržajem.
HTTPS je ista stvar, samo sa dodatnom sigurnošću - svi podaci se šifruju pre slanja. Prepoznaš ga po "https://" u adresi i ikoni katanca u browseru. Obavezno za banking, shopping i sve gde unosiš lične podatke.
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) služi za prenos fajlova između računara. Koristi dve odvojene konekcije - jednu za komande ("hoću da skinem fajl"), drugu za stvarni prenos podataka.
💡 Zapamti: HTTPS nije novi protokol - to je HTTP sa dodalom enkripcijom preko TLS/SSL
DNS - telefonski imenik interneta
DNS (Domain Name System) prevodi imena sajtova u IP adrese koje računari razumeju. Kada ukucaš "instagram.com", DNS sistem pronađe da je to zapravo 31.13.64.51 i omogući tvom browseru da se poveže.
Proces je hijerarhijski - tvoj računar pita lokalni DNS server, koji ako ne zna odgovor, pita dalje u lancu do root servera. Rezultat se čuva (cache) da sledeći put bude brže.
Bez DNS-a morао bi da pamtiš IP adrese svih sajtova koje posećuješ. Umesto "youtube.com" ukucavao bi "172.217.16.14" - praktično nemoguće za korišćenje.
Praktičan primer: Kada otvoriš Instagram, prvo se pošalje DNS upit da se sazna IP adresa, zatim se uspostavlja TCP konekcija, razmenjuju se HTTPS podaci, i konačno vidiš feed.
💡 Za ispit: DNS = "telefonski imenik interneta" - prevodi imena u brojeve
Kako sve funkcioniše zajedno
Kada otvoriš bilo koji sajt, pokreće se cela "koreografija" protokola. DNS prvo pronađe IP adresu, TCP uspostavi stabilnu konekciju, HTTPS osigura da podaci budu šifrovani, a HTTP prenese stvarni sadržaj stranice.
Za video pozive situacija je drugačija - koristi se UDP jer je bitnije da poziv bude u realnom vremenu nego da svaki paket stigne. Ako se izgubi deo zvuka, čuće se kao kratko pucketanje, što je bolje nego kašnjenje celog razgovora.
Ključne razlike za ispit:
- Aplikacioni sloj: HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS
- Transportni sloj: TCP, UDP

I think it’s very much worth it and you’ll end up using it a lot once you get the hang of it and even after looking at others notes you can still ask your Artificial intelligence buddy the question and ask to simplify it if you still don’t get it!!! This is not an ai review or anything this is genuinely coming from a 7th grade student (I know 2011 im young) but dude this app is a 10/10 i have maintained a 3.8 gpa and have plenty of time for gaming. I found this app a couple years ago and it has only gotten better since then. I really love it because it can help with written questions and photo questions. Also, it can find study guides that other people have made as well as flashcard sets and practice tests. The free version is also amazing for students who might not be able to afford it. Would 100% recommend

This app is phenomenal down to the correct info and the various topics you can study! I greatly recommend it for people who struggle with procrastination and those who need homework help. It has been perfectly accurate for world 1 history as far as I’ve seen! Geometry too!
